George King Elected Secretary of the Young Lawyers Committee for State Bar's Bankruptcy Section

In June 2018, the Young Lawyers Committee of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas elected George King to a two-year term as secretary. The Committee is made up of young bankruptcy professionals throughout the state of Texas. The Committee assists the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar by helping host events including the Elliott Cup, a moot court competition for Fifth Circuit law students in preparation for the national Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, and the Starting Out Right Program, which introduces new lawyers to key bankruptcy concepts and helps pave the way for a successful transition to the practice of law.
